Example of robo-call in Guelph, Ontario

The Toronto Star has published what is purported to be an actual robo-call recorded by a Guelph, Ontario resident. The message left on Guelph resident Dave Hudson’s voicemail on Election Day 2011. He was so alarmed, in fact, that he saved the message. the Star’s article is here.

  1. In the article, one of the alarmed voters lied to campaign callers saying that he was a Conservative supporter. Yet he received a misleading robocall. Does that not sound as though the robocall may have been from a supporter of either the Libs or the Dippers?

  2. Call a by-election in Guelph immediately. This seems to be what the Libs. want. Let's give it to them.
