What does Duceppe get?

We can guess what the socialists are getting out of this proposed coalition: unearned seats at cabinet, more social welfare giveaways and “vengeance” on Canada’s corporations—you know, the country’s employers.

And the Grits get the only thing they really care about: power.

But what has Gilles Duceppe’s Bloc been promised? There must be something; always is.

Why aren’t the MSM journalists hammering away at this question? They have the contacts inside the Liberal and socialists caucuses.

Come on guys, tell us what’s going on.smleaf

  1. That's my question! Why aren't the MSM asking questions. Real questions. They are treating this like a fun time. Innocous. Scott Laurie just said "better than any Soap Opera on TV".
    Were done.

  2. I'll tell you what's going on.

The Majority of MPs are exercising their Parliamentary right to establish a working government.

Why is that so hard to comprehend?

The Parliamentary system is very easy to understand.

I don't get why Conservative bloggers are having such a comprehension problem.

You might not like the result, but the process is 100% constitutional, legal, and democratic.

    The majority rules Parliament.

  3. Oh, we get it all right.

But I still want to know what specific promises have been made to kingmaker, Gilles Duceppe.

  4. Are any of the promises illegal?

  5. "You might not like the result, but the process is 100% constitutional, legal, and democratic."

Yeah Anony - and the optics are great - overthrowing a sitting government six mere weeks after they were elected with a strengthed mandate and less than two weeks after work began in the HoC.

I hope the rest of the world starts weighing in on this stupidity because the rest of the world recognizes the leader that Harper is and given the fact that our economy is currently rated as the best in the world - I am sure they will be wondering what kind of second rate idiots do we have in this country that would allow this kind of thing to happen.

But I don't expect you to understand Anony, after all, it is obvious that you are one that doesn't care about this country and just wants to take out Harper.

Be careful what you wish for Anony!!

  6. I don’t know what the promises are, so I cannot say.

  7. If I was a CEO of a profitable corporation right now I would be looking for a way to "get out of Dodge" and take my jobs, investments and tax money with me. I'm sure the US would welcome any companies that wanted to relocate south with open arms, move assistance, cheap real estate and most importantly lower taxes.
