Vote By Sukkot

Sukkot is the Jewish Festival of Booths. And, because October 14 is the first day of the holiday, observant Jews will be unable to cast their ballots on Election Day itself.

Shlomo Friedman, a law student at the University of Ottawa, has published a Web site, Vote By Sukkot, which provides voters with the information necessary to ensure that their ballots are cast in advance of Sukkot.

The Web site does not seem to favour any particular party and, among other things, it offers useful information about special ballots and advance polls—at this link.

Good stuff.
