Dion still the leader!

Mike Duffy just reported on CTV Newsnet that the Liberal/NDP coalition will be led by Stéphane Dion until the May 2009 leadership convention.

  1. yes, that is how a parliamentary democracy works...what's the surprise?

    MAJORITY RULE is the basic principle of a parliamentary system and that is what is being established by the opposition MPs.

    We don't vote for PMs or for a particular government.

    We vote for MPs and the majority of MPs can a form a government.

    We are witnessing a real exercise in Parliamentary democracy.

    Those are the rules.

    Let's see if I have this right. A liberal-government appointed left-wing journalist now decides who governs Canada. Yup, should take her about one second to choose, eh?

    The people of Canada are the only ones who should have the right to choose who governs them.
